Jürgen Dusel, der Behindertenbeauftragte der Bundesregierung, saß in Genf mit am Tisch bei der kritischen Staatenprüfung der UN zur Umsetzung der UN-Behindertenrechtskonvention in Deutschland. In seinem Gastbeitrag für das Schulportal fordert er die Bundesländer auf, ihrer Pflicht zur inklusiven Bildung nachzukommen, denn hierbei gehe es um fundamentale Menschenrechte.
